No More Room in Hell 2 Attachments Guide | Optics, Rails & Gun Lights

Complete No More Room in Hell 2 attachments guide covering optics, rail attachments, gun lights, weapon compatibility, and how to obtain them.

Overview

In No More Room in Hell 2, weapon attachments modify your firearms to improve performance in the dark, zombie-infested environments. Attachments are divided into Optics (sights and scopes) and Rail attachments (currently gun lights). They are categorized by length — Rifle "Long gun" attachments fit long guns, while Pistol attachments fit handguns. As of the Reanimation update (April 15, 2025), suppressors are not yet implemented in the game.

Attachments help you maintain accuracy and visibility without relying on consumable flashlight batteries. This guide covers every currently available attachment, which weapons they fit, and how to use them effectively.

Attachment Types

Optics

Optics improve accuracy by providing a clearer sight picture, which is especially valuable in the typically dark maps of No More Room in Hell 2. Two categories exist:

Note: The MP5 has a built-in flashlight that does not use in-game flashlight batteries.

How to Obtain Attachments

Attachments are found as loot during missions. Based on community reports and the official wiki, you can expect to find them in the following ways:

  • World spawns: Attachments appear as pickups scattered throughout maps, similar to weapons and ammunition.
  • Weapon spawns: Some weapons may spawn with attachments already fitted.
  • Loot containers: Check drawers, lockers, and other containers during exploration.

The exact spawn rates and locations are not documented in official sources. If you are looking for a specific attachment, focus on exploring thoroughly and checking high-traffic loot areas.

Uses

Optics

  • Micro Red Dot Sight: Provides a clear red dot reticle for the M9A3 pistol, making target acquisition faster in close-quarters encounters.
  • Holographic Sight: Offers a holographic reticle for mid-range engagements on compatible rifles and shotguns.
  • ACOG: A magnified optic suited for medium-range precision shots.
  • Long Gun Scope: Provides the highest magnification, ideal for long-range engagements with rifles like the Rochester 1873 or M7A1.

Rail Attachments

  • Long Gun Flashlight: Illuminates dark areas without consuming flashlight batteries. This is a significant advantage during extended missions where battery conservation matters.
  • MP5 Built-in Flashlight: The MP5's integrated light serves the same function as the Long Gun Flashlight but is always available on that weapon.
